After a 25-year career traveling the world as a logistics manager for Dow Corning, Alana turned her passion for Parisian baking into a bijou business. She was trained as a pâtissier at the Hong Kong Culinary Academy and set up her own studio in Hong Kong.
Alana only bakes with natural ingredients that have none of the harmful additives commercial bakeries use to boost production and prolong shelf life. Alarmed by the fact she could not find bread and cakes without additives even in premium bakeries, Alana carefully selects natural ingredients that explode with aroma and texture while optimizing health and wellbeing.
Baking is an art and soul experience for Alana. She hand crafts and illustrates petite notes adding an authentic artistic touch for her customers. Her studio is her creative space for impassioned experimentation. Every loaf of bread she bakes tells a story. She warmly invites you to share and indulge in her taste odyssey paved by nature, love and time.
